January 12, 2005:  Bay Colony GP-9 No. 1706 is hauling eleven empty trash cars back to Yarmouth on this snowy morning.  We begin at Canal Junction, where 1706 has returned from delivering the empty cars to the Otis transfer station, and is now headed for Yarmouth.  Once they shove back onto the bridge off of the Falmouth Line, the switch at Canal Jct. is lined for the Cape Main, and the train heads south.  This morning's run also included a stop at Gallo Construction, underneath the Sagamore bridge, to pick up a loaded gondola car of flyash (trucked from the Canal Electric plant).  After they switch out Gallo, we follow them on their southbound trek.
